To provide products or services you request, Chirotopix shares your personal information with third parties in an effort to satisfy your request. For example, if you wish to purchase products or services through the Site, we may share your personal information with shipping companies and suppliers so that your purchase can be processed. We may also disclose your personal information to entities employed to perform functions on our behalf.

Chirotopix may disclose de-identified aggregate information to its clients, business partners, merchants, advertisers, potential advertisers, investors, potential buyers and other third parties if Chirotopix deems such disclosure, in its own discretion, to have sound business reasons or justification.
Opt-out or Termination of User Accounts
If users have opted out of all communication with the Website, or deleted/deactivated their account, Chirotopix will not attempt to contact such users to retain them as customers nor will their personal information ever be used by us in any manner. Through the course of routine marketing activities, past customers may be contacted by Chirotopix.
Chirotopix saves your personal information and patient information in a secure environment so that you can easily use our services upon return visits. Chirotopix may retain information we gather about you indefinitely.
We are committed to preventing others from unauthorized access to the personal information you provide to us, and we maintain commercially reasonable procedures and technology designed for this purpose. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information, such as credit card number, that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry, 256-bit SSL. While on a secure page, such as our registration form, the lock icon on the Web browser becomes visible.
While we use 256-bit SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment.
Your account profile is password protected. Only you and any person to whom you disclose your password can access and modify your profile. Accordingly, you have the responsibility to protect and maintain the confidentiality of your password.
Chirotopix uses “cookies” only for the convenience of our users and to enhance your experience using the Site. A cookie is a small text file that is recorded on your hard drive by a web page server. It is not used to deliver viruses or other harmful programs to your computer. Rather, cookies enable Chirotopix to recognize a user without requiring the user to repeatedly log in when using the Site or other Chirotopix websites. By relying on cookies, Chirotopix is able to deliver an efficient service that is more appropriately targeted for particular users. Additionally, cookies allow Chirotopix to monitor traffic patterns and site usage, which help make the Site more useful. If a user’s system is idle for an extended period of time, the cookie could expire, which would then require the user to log in again.
Please note that most browsers can be set to accept or decline cookies. You also may be able to modify your browser setting to notify you each time a cookie is created and permit you to accept or decline cookies on an individual basis or to accept cookies from websites that meet certain disclosure and use specifications. However, please be advised that declining cookies may hinder performance of the Site and thereby negatively impact your experience using the Site.
Like most standard website servers, we may use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
We may use an outside shipping company to fulfill orders, and use a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store, or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.
We use other third parties to provide credit card transactions on our site. When you process an order, we will share credit card information, name & address information as necessary for the third party to provide the credit card transaction service. The third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.
